Welshot event and new camera.

Yesterday (23rd March) I was at the Welshot createive hub in Llandudno shooting with Olga Solo (pictured),  this was my 6th event of the year. 6 in three months and ive got another two booked! 

This was also my first opotunity to really use my new Nikon Z5 and lens I bought a few weeks ago. I was using two lenses, the 85MM/1.8  and the 35MM/1.8. I have to say I got mixed results, some shots were really sharp and others were blured and out of focus. I had some help with the camera setup and adjusting some of the setings on the day which did help somewhat, but still my hit/miss ratio was a lot higher than before. I can only put this down to user error, it was my first time really using the camera and so I was expecting to have to spend some time getting used to it and the differnces bettween that and the d7200.

Ill post some of the results in the week, and do a video vlog about my experence using the camera after the shoot with Montrose studios on the 30th of March.
