National Waterways Museum. 

After a good hoilday last week, I've resolved to try and get out more and go places, my first trip, though not my first visit, was to the National Waterways Museum in Elsmer Port. 

Its a good day out for the family with plenty to see and do, there is a cafe and a suvaner shop, they run a canal ride that lasts about 30 minutes and gives some details of the history of the area, there is a locks demenstration and after that you can visit the musiem its self or one of the other exhibitions.

If you check out the web site youll see they have lots of events on through out the year, on this ocasion it was  World War 2  they had some reinactors in verious peroiud costumes and a demonstration of firearms.
